Every week thousands of Iraqis line the borders looking for a way to escape the violence engulfing their country. Two million Iraqis have already fled - about 700,000 of them in the last year alone. They seek refuge in the neighboring countries of Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, and Turkey. But two million people are too great a number for the Middle East to handle on its own.
